ABOUT

New Zealand’s premier national chamber choir, Voices New Zealand, performs a stunning musical reminder of the beauty and importance of our oceans.

Taonga Moana is a celebration of uplifting and moving music by composers from Canada, Latvia, Indonesia and the United States, as well as new works by New Zealand’s Warren Maxwell – capturing his personal experiences of the Southern Ocean and Antarctica; and Finland’s Jaakko Mäntyjärvi – who writes about the currents of the Arctic Ocean.

The glorious music will be accompanied by a landscape of projected moving images from Australian multimedia artists Tim and Mic Gruchy, creating a spectacular audio-visual experience.
