BEETHOVEN & BRAHMS

Matthew Barley & Stephen De Pledge

ABOUT

“…the overall impression left by De Pledge was of playful mystery.”

 – The Times

“One of the most talented cellists I’ve ever heard.”

 – Leonard Bernstein

The resonance of the cello pulls at the heartstrings, a compelling soundtrack for star crossed lovers and deep longings for that beyond our reach. Few have not yearned to be with loved ones in the last two years. This tour reunites two friends, musical accomplices that have made their homes on opposite sides of the globe.
